Gravity: Songs 511 to 520

A lot of strong emotions going on here, especially with the Disney songs. Shall we?

Song #514: But I deliberate simple things, I complicate, Then I think it best to wait...

Song 511: Flo Rida ft Brisco - You Know You Want Me

He ended the last list, and he'll begin this list!

I think the song is sampled from some other, but I can't figure it out. I don't know who is doing what in this track, but I could care less. Yes, there is swearing in this, but I'm here for the background. It's rather nice, and the chipmunk sounds don't bother me at all. I like to think my crush is like this, hesitant to say it while I'm thinking that they want me too... Only time will tell if I'm right or not. For now, I'll be rapping to this (there isn't any actual singing in this - amazing).

This is an enjoyable song for a pleasant movie. Didn't see this coming.

From her earlier works, this was something different from Dobson, removing the angst and building up that stupid feeling. She doesn't want to wait anymore, and if her lover is ready for it, then they can start something worth while. It's like a prom-esque slow dance track: not too cheesy, and doesn't ruin the moment. Her sound is kind of like this these days, and it's been successful so far. Keep up the work Fefe!

Song 513: Carrie Underwood - Ever Ever After

From one of my favourite films - just love it!

It's the perfect happy ending theme to such a brilliant movie, I can't help but smile when I hear this. Through all of the hard times and troubles in life, they somehow reached the part of the story where everything gets better from here. But that's the magic of an ending, a new story begins. Not too poppy, but not too country as well. This is a nice tune, hopefully Disney brings this magic once again :"D

Song 514: SoulDecision - Gravity

Hands down, my favourite SouDecision song!

This was all because of the video. When the HitList was on, I would just wait and hope that the video will play in their Canadian segment - the wait was worth it! They're bowling, random objects start to float, and the girls are kicking some butt in this game! Now back to the song: when you're in love, you can't blame them - that's just wrong. Who is responsible for this emotion? Sure, let's put it on Physics, they're all about mistakes. Oh love, sometimes you can make a fool out of someone... but they probably don't mind ^^

Song 515: Paige O'Hara & Robby Benson - Something There

Another classic from one of the best animated films... ever!

They don't know what's coming over them, but they do know that it's growing on them. When time plays a factor, something might happen along the way, and hopefully, it's all the way. It's a bit comical, but that's the kind of relationship that they have: it's easygoing. Sounds a bit festive, but all in all, it's a fun time.

Song 516: Craig David - 6 Of 1 Thing

He can make any subject danceable - and to that, you gotta thank him.

It's a fast-paced song, and he's got a lot to say. There's someone that won't give them a straight answer, and it's driving him nuts! Don't you wish that they make it easy? Then again, it probably wouldn't be as fun. Add in the trumpets, the banging drums, and all the hoopla; it's one fantastic production. It reminds me of those bands where they have their own booth, and he's just singing in the centre of the stage. Nostalgic.

Song 517: Black Eyed Peas - Rock That Body

I find it astounding how they can make a song from a few words of another. A different perspective, but it's not bad at all.

There's this futuristic sound to it, and they want you to move to the beat... If not, the robots will make you! That doesn't seem like a bad future, right? And why wouldn't you be in the first place? Sure, it's not their best song, but it's still fun and it has a lot of energy. Plus, everyone has their own part in the song, even if Fergie's voice is rather odd. Oh well, that's them.

Song 518: Cascada - Everytime We Touch

What do you do in a library? You dance, that's what!

She found her love in the quietest place, and she confesses it loud and proud in their workplace. But there is something fascinating about a library, don't you feel an attraction towards it? Maybe not, but this song sure is addicting! But using your senses is powerful, it can bring such fond memories to you. If you need an example, look at this video - my cousins agree it makes more sense to the song. Either way, it's still passionate and absolutely touchy :"3

Song 519: Beyoncé Knowles - If I Were A Boy

One of the saddest songs from Beyoncé, if men would only feel her pain...

Why are there actions that we don't approve of, and why do we feel hurt by it? Does a man know what he does when a woman finds out? She wants to make sure that he doesn't understand, and all of the things that go in her mind when you're gone. But honestly, he doesn't care... What a strong message, and the rhythm is simple enough not to take away her power. Oh B, you know how to give it to them emotionally.

Song 520: Jodi Benson - Part Of Your World

A song for those who are looking for the one, but are worlds apart. Oh Disney, you know people's pain...

This is a lovely film, but it's rather dark in my opinion - at least the ending. But this song is hopeful, where Ariel wishes that someday she'll be with her true love. You know it's pure when you would do anything for them, even become a different form of yourself. There have been plenty of covers on this song, and it's because it's a song that will always get to you. Whether you belt it out or take a dramatic turn, it makes you want to be part of the sea, longing for something more. Go mermaids!
