Sexy Sundays: The Way You Make Me Feel

Wow, has 20 songs already gone? The time has come fast, no? But things were getting hot and heated... At last, the final entry for this project of mine is here, and who better to end a list rather than the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Everyone young and old love this man, and it's not hard to see why: he makes loving seem so easy ^^

I believe this is his sexiest song, because nothing should turn someone on more than how they feel for that special someone - and it's clear by what he says to the lady at the beginning. From the banging drums, to the saxophones (oh, the 80s!), and that sound I can't describe during the instrumental break: so amazing. If that's not enough, observe his dance moves, the woman's walking, what happens in the end... It's quite passionate. There is nothing sexier than feeling the same for one another, and doing whatever you please - because it ain't nobody's business c";

Give thanks to the man who made anything sexy... Now, if only the sketchy side of town had more enthusiasm like this, pretty sure more people would be happy. By the way, remember this performance? Yeah, it's still sexy regardless of how old the song is. Now, to the song:

Thanks for following me on this little journey, expect another journey to come soon!

Sexy Sundays: Too Close (I Wanna Sex You Up)

Here is the other entry without a music video (previous one here). This is the only mash-up that appears in this list, because it puts two sexy songs into one... So much more sexier c";

Take two bands, add some interesting lyrics, and you get yourself some satisfaction. The instrumental part comes from Color Me Badd, a 90s band who released this song the same year I was born - isn't that a fun fact? The video may be, nostalgic, but they do put the message in such a nice way, wouldn't you agree? As for the acapella, that comes from Next, a band also from the 90s with this song being their most successful - I was 6 when it was released. It makes me wonder if my childhood or teen years were worse d":

While Color Me Badd's song puts out what they want to say of so vividly, Next's single was quite hidden. It was only when I heard someone's conversation a few years ago that I got the true understanding of the song... Oh, maybe childhood was worse when it came to hidden messages x.x If you don't understand, try to dissect the chorus... Fun times ^^

I heard this mash-up on the radio, and I was in such a good mood when it was playing. It becomes more playful, and the tunes collide very nicely if I do say so myself! When it comes to getting down, Hip Hop has to be the kings of the subject. And now, enjoy the song:

Sexy Sundays: White Lies

Here is an interesting selection, if I say so myself. Take a DJ, a former Pussycat Doll, and remix the original... you get something quite pleasurable. The original version is alright, but there is a new heightened sense with the remix - even the name of the remix is sexy: Aural Float (sounds delicious). It has this lounge vibe to it, and who doesn't want to be relaxed when another pleasure is about to come your way c";

This really showcases Jessica's talents, mainly because there is no one in her way to get attention of the spotlight d": But who knew how sexy she can be by herself? With a chair, on the bed, moving oh so provocatively? With moves like that, she leaves more to be imagined. Who knew that one can be turned on by a method of torture? Just don't let it happen too often, unless it's for play of course. Now, let the stakes go up as you go out and have fun:

Sexy Sundays: In The Dark

Let's put lovin' on a serious note this time: what happens when you only know someone who is good for one thing? Does that make them memorable? Or is that simply bad news? Allow not so little Miss Jojo explain it to you. I would have never expected such raw material coming from her, but it works with her and I do hope that I hear a little more of this just to see how more intense it could get.

Gone are her days of relationships, and welcome something new to her. She knows that what she's doing is wrong; however, she cannot help herself to contain such tensions that need to be released. There is this odd mystery in the sound that makes you curious and wonder what will happen, that little piano play is such a tease. And it doesn't help that she keeps things interesting when she only knows this person when the lights are out. Add in her singing, and it's sensual in its own way. So the question is: are you willing to play the game? Nothing is on the line, except for those inner desires that are wanting to be yearned for so long... Enjoy the clip:

Sexy Sundays: I Like The Way

I think the name of the band pretty much sums up what I want to do when I hear this song: to rock that body ^^ I didn't know that there wasn't a music video ever created - another song will be featured later on this list.

Let's get to the song shall we: DJs, slow talk, guitars, pump-up jam... What is not sexy about this song? I thought it was actually older, but it was released in 2005. Seven years later, it's still so sex (refer to this video for that term.) Maybe it is easy to turn someone on by simply saying what they enjoy about you, maybe I should try it one time... maybe! What I couldn't believe about this song was the fact that it has been used in commercials, movies, TV shows (this one is cool!) But still, an easy concept with an awesome tune to dance along. And when the dancing gets hot, just need to cool yourself off sometimes. All I want to say is 'enjoy it while it lasts,' and I shall leave you with that thought.

Perhaps it is better that they didn't make a video? That way, the imagination can be wild (or tamed) as you like. Here you go, ear-gasm:

Sexy Sundays: Luv Me, Luv Me

This week is a little funkier than others, and it might be just what you need ^^ Although it may be hard at times to understand what he's saying, Shaggy knows what he is doing... I mean, his name is Shaggy after all.

It is one laid back song that hits all the right spots to getting down... Aw yeah. Add in the always sexy Janet Jackson, and it's brilliant! But there was an issue when it came to the music video, as she didn't want to be part of it - oh well, add in more babes and it's all better! Now, back to the song: that guitar strumming, the random shout outs, and hearing that they want some loving seems to create the perfect situation. The only question I have is, would you mind being called a sex machine? And is that such a bad thing?

No need to tell me your answer, but do have yourself a good time when listening to a booty-bopping fun tune... And don't worry, it's OK to look at, especially if you have seen the movie that it came from. Time to get the groove on:

Sexy Sundays: Sweetest Sin

Another lady on the list? Let's get this going... This week's selection is a wild fantasy come to life, all courtesy of Jessica Simpson. You have to admit that she is a beautiful woman, and this era definitely proves it.

Despite what you think of her, this is a very satisfying song, from her airy voice to the mystical sounds in the background. She is talking about the power of touch, and how it can heighten one's sensations; Seems that it is the simple pleasures that make the biggest impression. And the video: wow. Who knew that such dreams could be wild and exotic? Here she has her then husband Nick Lachey, and you have to admit that they were one of the best couples in the entertainment industry... Oh well, at least there is a video to see the passion they had for each other.

Making love on the beach, enjoyed to a guilty pleasure filled with some romantic (and suggestive) activities... Yeah, that much sums up the artist's point of view in the song. I shall say no more, and leave you with the music video - enjoy it:

Sexy Sundays: Dip It Low

Let's get this going, shall we? This week's selection comes from a lady... you know it's already going to be sexy c";

If there was one song that Christina Milian was known for, it would have to be this one. Yes, her other singles are catchy, but this one made her noticed... And she left a big impression behind. Take some oriental sounds, add her sensual voice, and big buckets of black paint... what point was I making by the way? There is no doubt that adding a little bit of showing off, dancing, and be dragged on the floor (in a sexy way, of course) would make the perfect formula to make a man say 'oh.' You have gotten my attention, Miss Milian.

I wish she had made more music, because I do like her voice, but I guess after one very revealing video, that was it! Maybe it's difficult to get clean after getting so dirty perhaps? After eight years (yeah, this song is old!), this song is still fresh! Hopefully she will make music again, and here's to wishing that it's a little more like this. For now, can still enjoy seeing her on The Voice. Let's get this good time rolling:

Sexy Sundays: Climax

Once again, I apologize for no post last week... I was a little under the weather. Well, let's turn things up for this week, shall we?

This song I actually heard this year, and I was taken by the first listen. It's not difficult to see that Usher is one sexy artist, and he his music (and body) is all the proof you need. But what makes this different from his other singles is that, it's not typical of him. This is not a dance track, nor something sad - it's suspense. And for those who get a thrill out of not knowing what comes next, I believe this should hit the spot for you (";

Despite being apart, all he can think about is being with the one that is on his mind... A scandal that is hard to resist. So what does one do before the temptation gets to them? It seems that curiosity come to play, letting the senses go wild. I do hope that no one ever goes through this, but it is quite steamy this track, with the falsettos and the 'stutter' sound that always gets to me. Usher sure knows how to grab attention in all the right ways. And now, let the drama begin:

Sexy Sundays: Beautiful

This may be the end of summer, so might as well make the best of it with a song that gets you in a heated mood that makes you end up forgetting what the weather was like today c";

Here we have the rapper formerly known as Snoop Dogg (now Snoop Lion), collaborating with one of the most brilliant artists around, Pharrell Williams. Take smooth rap verses from one, that high voice of another, put it all under a funky beat, and you've got yourself a tune that makes you want to get now... Well, not right away at least. I like to consider this as 'take your time' kind of piece, where the love can be sensual and pleasant to the touch. After all, there ain't no kind of lovin' like a real love.

If they made a whole album together, I may not know how to handle myself! Hope they do, so I can hear more sounds like this... And now, enjoy yourself my readers as you go and get down:

Sexy Sundays: Sexyback

Sorry for the mini-break I had, I was on vacation! No luck this time... Oh well, be saving it for the next trip c;

Moving on, let's resume the list, shall we? Here we have is an artist that brought something that never disappeared... But a little reminder doesn't hurt so bad, especially when it's from one sexy artist ^^

He does it in such a cool manner, playing up his interest like it's no big deal, while making the other boys who are crowding around nervous. Originally, I didn't like this song because of the effects he put on his voice - I guess some people have an attraction towards a megaphone? I don't know, that's what I use to think. And then I heard this remix, and I fell in love with it! This was more like it! Yeah, booty-bopping music that makes you want to stare into that pretty young's thing all night long XD

Who knew the view from behind could be sought after so badly? I hope Mr. Timberlake will come back to singing and grinding up the dance floor, because him in movies just isn't the same. Now, let's get to the song:

Sexy Sundays: Astounded

Look what we have here, another Canadian band! It seems like the true North knows how to have a good time c; Funny way how this song made the list: I was sleeping last night, and I had a strange, weird dream (kind of beautiful) and then this song popped out of nowhere... This was my lightbulb moment, and I knew this had to be part of these seductive sounds.

The singer, the late Curtis Mayfield, lends his vocals in this track, and what he says is simple enough: all he wants is to love you. If you can give him that, then love will come very soon. Take it from the couple in the video, it's quite a session. I wonder if anyone has tried that before... But to be honest, if anything can happen afterwards, you got to feel something while making out. By the look of this couple, chances are they're going to get lucky tonight ^^ So here it is, a song of my childhood that is now part of a grown-up subject. Enjoy:

Sexy Sundays: SuperSex World

I don't know where to start with this piece - I think I heard this when I was like nine? Use to think this song was so funny... And I still do!

They are a Canadian band, and the song is pretty straight-forward: Imagination can take you to wild places. Sure, the lyrics could have been thought out better, but the chorus always gets to me: going up and down d":

If that is not enough, just look at the video. There are a lot of ideas that can be input to your... sessions. Whether it's the guitars or the utter amusement, you can't help yourself but to keep on observing. After all, curiosity is fuel for intimacy.

Got to give it Canadians, they don't shy away from anything! So get comfy, because you are in for a ride for something... Trust me, there is something for everyone in this clip:

Sexy Sundays: In Your Eyes

This week's feature is somewhat similar to of last week's in the sense that they know how to turn things up to the MAX. The artist here has so many songs that make you think the wrong thing, that it was hard to narrow it down to one.

I selected this one because it's one of my favourites, and nothing seems more powerful than a feeling, especially when you know that you want them. On such a high, there is no reason to come back to earth when this emotion is taking over you. The rest of the world fades away, as there are two that remain, left in a moment... I mean, how more romantic can it get? Add a funky disco tune to it, of course! Plus, there is no denying that her body is amazing! And if you look at her recently, she still looks the same. It's amazing that she is 44, really!

Now here is her song, oh so colourful and wild - just like love:

Sexy Sundays: Like A Virgin

If there is anyone who knows what sexy is all about, it has to be Madonna. This year she is 54, and she still looks amazing! *Needs to go and work out...*

Anyways, let's get to the song: of all the singles that she has released, I believe this has to be the most sensual one. Sure, there are more suggestive lyrics in her other songs, but none can be compared to this little ditty. A part of her was missing, and in comes Casanova to rescue her. Finally, all those days of exhaustion are over! So satisfied, it's like experiencing it all over again for the first time.

Oh how this song brings back memories of singing this whenever karaoke parties came around... The best times. And how does a song like this live on for so long? By re-inventing it, of course! She is performing this on her latest tour, but this one has to be my favourite... And let's not forget an infamous scene almost a decade old!

Got to give it up to the queen of pop! Now let's turn up the heat, shall we:

Sexy Sundays: I Wanna Know

I was listening to my mp3 player the other day, and I stumbled upon this song... It made me realize that some of the sexiest things can be also the simplest.

Here we have an artist of my childhood, they played this all the time on the radio, had such a soothing sound, and surprisingly I still know some of the lyrics! All he wants to do is to get to know this person, understand what they're all about, and what makes them happy... After all, isn't happiness what we seek for in the end? If he knows how to make you feel good inside, then he wants to be the only reason they smile; yeah, a little gushy, but so romantic at the same time c";

Sigh, there seems to be a void in being genuine in music these days. I hope that the sound comes back, because nothing is more appealing then spending time with the one you are interested... And, hopefully soon, love ^^ Now, let's get on with the slow jam. Aw yeah:

Sexy Sundays: Milkshake

Today, I just finished a series of concerts (I might make a posting on that, not exactly sure just yet!) And the only thing I was craving for was one of these... And if it was made by her, I might have just bought one at the amusement park d":

But let's talk about this song: it was the one that got her name out there, and who knew that a frosty beverage could be even more satisfying? Whatever she puts in it, the boys come running back for more. With the *dings* and the booty-bopping beat, there is no denying that something so innocent would become one interesting song! In fact, it's so popular, it was used in this show and this show - both were certainly entertaining ^^ But if it there was one thing that it reminds me of, it goes to this film. Yeah, their attitude perfectly fits the bill to this tune c";

And here you go, the song that makes me crave for a creamy, delicious beverage:

Sexy Sundays: Let's Get It On

Sorry about last week, I meant to post a song! Anyways, let's get on with the list for all of those who are in the mood ^^

In today's world, all you hear is the explicit content that tells you exactly what they want... But the 70s had a different way of expressing their love. In comes an oldie that never dies, and I am grateful for that! I mean, you do not hear songs like these anymore, where the message is there, but put in a more tasteful way.

Pluck those strings in the beginning, and you are already begging for more! And his voice is pure silk, it can make anyone get in the mood even if they're not. If you are like me, you don't know the lyrics after he sings the chorus the first time... I think people are already getting down to business to care about the second half d";

Ooh, it's getting a little warm in here, so I'll just leave you with the single to make you wowed up:

Sexy Sundays: Play

What is there to say about this song? I wasn't really familiar with it until I saw the Movie Awards back in 2006. Jessica Alba was nominated for Best Sexy Performance... she won! This was the song that they played in clip for her role as Nancy Callahan in Sin City - that is one movie I still need to see!

Back to the song: the heavy drum, the whispering, what isn't sexy about it? Even the scratching sounds add a little 'oomph' to make it... fun. Sure, the video has some good eye candy, but just listening to it is pretty sensual in a dirty way, if that is even possible. Besides, who doesn't get turned on after someone works out? Don't even argue, you know it's true... Pretty sure Science can prove it C";

If anyone can find this song mixed in with Alba's scene, please send it to me! That was perfection mixing the two together. Now, enjoy the song:

Sexy Sundays: Faded

This week's song takes us back in time... way back. Who knew I was singing this when I was young? Only now do I realize what this is about. Oh joy T_T

Onto the song: it's pretty old, and I still remember seeing this on the HitList. It wasn't until one faithful night that a friend and I went clubbing. The theme was 90s night, and she started dancing with a stranger - then the lyrics clicked in! Not sure if it ruins my childhood, or if it makes my adulthood more exciting. And the rapper in the song goes by the name of Thrust; of course it is d":

But like all good old songs, they certainly get better with age. Better not be giving people the wrong message, otherwise they may want to spend more time with you c";
