Sexy Sundays: Let's Get It On

Sorry about last week, I meant to post a song! Anyways, let's get on with the list for all of those who are in the mood ^^

In today's world, all you hear is the explicit content that tells you exactly what they want... But the 70s had a different way of expressing their love. In comes an oldie that never dies, and I am grateful for that! I mean, you do not hear songs like these anymore, where the message is there, but put in a more tasteful way.

Pluck those strings in the beginning, and you are already begging for more! And his voice is pure silk, it can make anyone get in the mood even if they're not. If you are like me, you don't know the lyrics after he sings the chorus the first time... I think people are already getting down to business to care about the second half d";

Ooh, it's getting a little warm in here, so I'll just leave you with the single to make you wowed up:

Sexy Sundays: Play

What is there to say about this song? I wasn't really familiar with it until I saw the Movie Awards back in 2006. Jessica Alba was nominated for Best Sexy Performance... she won! This was the song that they played in clip for her role as Nancy Callahan in Sin City - that is one movie I still need to see!

Back to the song: the heavy drum, the whispering, what isn't sexy about it? Even the scratching sounds add a little 'oomph' to make it... fun. Sure, the video has some good eye candy, but just listening to it is pretty sensual in a dirty way, if that is even possible. Besides, who doesn't get turned on after someone works out? Don't even argue, you know it's true... Pretty sure Science can prove it C";

If anyone can find this song mixed in with Alba's scene, please send it to me! That was perfection mixing the two together. Now, enjoy the song:

Sexy Sundays: Faded

This week's song takes us back in time... way back. Who knew I was singing this when I was young? Only now do I realize what this is about. Oh joy T_T

Onto the song: it's pretty old, and I still remember seeing this on the HitList. It wasn't until one faithful night that a friend and I went clubbing. The theme was 90s night, and she started dancing with a stranger - then the lyrics clicked in! Not sure if it ruins my childhood, or if it makes my adulthood more exciting. And the rapper in the song goes by the name of Thrust; of course it is d":

But like all good old songs, they certainly get better with age. Better not be giving people the wrong message, otherwise they may want to spend more time with you c";
