Honourable Mentions

I think I have a problem with music: I like too many songs. And that makes it difficult for me to conduct the Top 100 every year. But I somehow managed to do it! So that means, a bunch of them don't even get to make the official list. Here are the 30 songs that were close - they won't be forgotten.

New Old Music: The Best Discoveries

As the year comes to an end, I have decided to make not 1ne, not 2wo, but 4OUR countdown lists (yeah, I had to do that with my numbering XD) The first one commemorates the best songs not of this year, but the songs I happen to stumble upon while looking for new music. So let's get to the Top 10 Songs that I found in the year 2013. Shall we? :"D

New Old Music

I swear, my brain doesn't work at times. Not only have I forgotten about this song for years, but I also had to find it again through a bad film that I watched on TV… It had a Disney Channel star in it, don't judge me. No wonder it was on at 2AM in the morning...

DJ Champion - No Heaven

Despite the fact that I heard the song in a movie called Prom Wars, this use to be on the radio all the time, on heavy rotation. He is a Canadian DJ who has gotten recognition with this song. I believe this is his only hit song, and couldn't find any other songs that he made. What a shame, it's so good. I love it when that Rock vibe is added to a Dance tune (then again, any genre with Dance mixed in makes it good). So here's to the forgotten song from 2006, and hopefully I will never forget it again. I mean, have you heard the song?! It's got attitude and sex appeal all under 4 minutes. Now that's good.

New Old Music

Once again, that song you completely forgot about, only to be re-introduced to it by unusual happenings… By that, I mean usually the 'random' button on the playlist, or from your brother in this case. So without adieu, let's get to remembering this song!

Lucy Pearl - Dance Tonight

So how does this happen: listening to this song all of last year (or the year before that) non-stop, and it eventually lead me to download the whole album just for the one song… Fast forward to today, and my brother re-intoduces this song to me while blasting it out of his speakers. But if I did pay attention to any memories of my childhood, I would have known that this song comes from the movie Love & Basketball, one of my cousin's favourite movie. It's amazing that this came out in 2000, and it's still gold. Goes to show that some films get it right with the soundtrack.

New Old Music

I think this month will be dedicated to the songs I forgot that existed. This is what happens when new music is constantly coming out: you forget about the goodies that were already here. Oy vey, me and my curious allows my music library to slip out the outstanding pieces...

Kuba Oms - Electrolove

A little funky, with such a refreshing outcome. It's different from other songs, it stands out on its own. What I love about it is the refrain, the guitar  is a surprising twist to the lounge vibe it creates. What ever happened to this man? This song was always on the radio, and then it disappeared. So when I heard it on Galaxy (TV channel, only audio), I got that excited feeling just when I first heard it two years ago. An excellent example of good music that can never die. He better release something in the future.

New Old Music

Why don't Canadians appreciate Canadian music? I mean, there are so many talented people in this country, yet I don't ever hear enough songs that dominate the radio stations I usually listen to. So when this came on, I was pleasantly surprised that upon discovery, this artist is also Canadian. Score.

Matthew Barber - Soft One

Not exactly sure how old this song is, but I'm going to guess it's almost 10? Based on the comments left on the video, some people were searching for it a long time ago. All I was doing was looking for a song I wasn't sick of on the radio. It's always interesting to get that random song you've never heard about and start listening to it. I think there should be a rule for every 3 or 4 songs that they often play on the station, an old Canadian song must be played. That way, people get to know what else is out there (can't always stay by the computer and find out good music that way!)

New Old Music

Any plans for Halloween? If not, get into this mix that I made a very long time ago. It contains the main four songs that I love to hear every year. They may not exactly be scary, but definitely makes you want to dance.

Halloween Megamix

Truth be told, I have never gone clubbing during Halloween. I expect it to be fun, especially with everyone dressed up and allowing the inner demon come out to haunt those around them. And if I were to ever go clubbing on such an eventful day, I would like to hear the songs I put in this mix while I was there. I'm pretty sure one of them will ALWAYS be played, but it would be amazing to hear them in one night while on serial killer mode… to the dance floor, that is. Maybe one day, but for now, it's all about the music I'm into. Happy Halloween to all, and to all may it not be your last night.

New Old Music

Two weeks in a row, we have more music from a game! Curse Tap Tap Revenge! So sad, I didn't save my data when updating the phone, and lost all the songs I purchased ._. Oh well, perhaps it's a sign that I have enough music from that game... Never.

The Royal Concept - Gimme Twice

Sounds familiar? It's strange how I like the same thing all over again, but it's a nice change from everyday Pop music I'm comfortable with. There is this romanticism behind it, trying to be edgy without saying 'love' in the lyrics. It's pretty much something you can have fun with, carelessly dancing the night away to or casually drinking to forget your worries. Any, what the heck? Go out and enjoy yourself. Easy listening music makes any party feel relaxed.

New Old Music

How many songs have I posted that comes from a game? Let's add another one, because it's obvious that games know what is good - or bad - or, something that you didn't expect. Whoever is searching for such lost songs, they are doing a fantastic job at it.

The Relay Company - Animals

Think it's the beat that throws me off. They sound like a Rock Band, but changed the rhythm so it's more electronic. Like they morphed typical Teen-Rock with Amateur DJ techniques. Not sure if it's amazing, or terrible; but I can't resist its charm? Just listen to the song, the music video is off for me... Almost ruining childhood, but I think they didn't get the comedy note right on. Since this piece, their sound is more typical Teen Rock, and that sounds more like them. But this was certainly an effort for them, and should be looked at, just for kicks.

New Old Music

Pretty sure I found this song a long time ago, but I have gotten to like it more and more after listening to it a few more times. Maybe giving songs another try wouldn't be such a bad thing? After all, discovery can also be re-discovery c";

Afrojack ft Eva Simons - Take Over Control

I think DJs know what good music is, because they always hire the best vocals on their track. Enter Eva Simons, a girl who is usually known for collaborating on amazing pieces. I don't know exactly what part of the song I didn't like before, but I am glad that I gave it another try. Me thinks it's the lyrical content that I ignored that I actually listened to this year... And it's pretty solid, but mixing sounds with violins will always take me away. Can't help it, I'm a sucker for them. So here's to the unsung heroes who know what the world needs. Thank you Afrojack.

New Old Music

As September comes to an end, it only reminds me of one thing: one month of exercise out the door T_T But fear not, long as there is music, there will always be motivation! Although I discovered this months ago, it's still a great spirit-booster.

Florence & The Machine - Spectrum (Say My Name)

She is an extraordinary woman, and her vocals are incomparable. Florence & The Machine deserves more attention than she gets, and it's sad that North America doesn't really acknowledge her talent unless she's teamed up with a mainstream DJ... Which is ironic, as this song improves with the help of Calvin Harris ._. Compared to the original, this is something you can work out to! Try not to be excited to this, it's not easy. Perhaps she should try Dance music? Pretty sure she would dominate that genre like a BOSS.

New Old Music

Most people know this DJ by now, but I didn't realize the full spectacular he has created that lasts for ever... And that is not a bad thing at all. How I found this song, it doesn't matter. I'm just glad I did, and wondered what I did without it.

Deadmau5 - Strobe

What else than a Canadian to show off how a 10-minute track is done. There is no such thing as a radio edit for this song, it cannot be fully experienced is such a short amount of time. With a delicate introduction, it leads to either a trance mode or an intense rave party. It makes me relaxed, like this is a form of therapy. Seems that Electronic Dance Music knows no border between slowing down or on the  run, because it goes either way. Hope that Deadmau5 makes more hits like this, and perhaps even longer? That would be an incredible session to listen to.

New Old Music

While listening to my 2013 playlist on random, I have noticed this song popping up a bunch of times... The only memory I can collect from this would have to be the fact that I had to find this song through Shazam... Pretty sure I found this on a mash-up while I was browsing online.

Marco V - Analogital

From what I found, he is a Dutch DJ, and he has been on the scene for more than 20 years... So it's a surprise that I just discovered him. Although this song has no lyrics at all, the beat has this stickiness that attaches to you. The best parts of this song would have to be the build up, followed by the beat drop - that even amazed me, because that would usually turn me off from the song. I know it would be great in a mash-up, if I could only remember where I found this from. Oh well, I'll still be rocking to this.

New Old Music

For most of us, the month of September means a new beginning may it be school, career, or whatever adventure comes your way. And with this song that I found, I think this perfectly suits the mind set every one should be in. It's amazing what you find watching videos all summer long...

Mindy Gledhill - Whole Wide World

Here we have an artist who mainly stays in the Folk genre, but has collaborated with Kaskade. Who knew that the two styles of music go so well together? Aside from that, this song leaves you with warm feelings, wanting to do exactly what she says: accept a new challenge. It's full of wonderment, and her voice is soft and breezy. You can pick any song of hers, collaboration or solo, and I'm sure you will fall in love with Gledhill. Folk music may not be your genre, but this is an excellent start if you want to get into the scene. And after all, the world is full of exciting activities. Go and explore.

New Old Music

One day, when I should have been studying, my friend introduced to a game that would eventually lead me to having two versions of the same application on my phone... I curse & thank him at the same time. Ever since the game provided free music, I have been introduced to some new songs. This is one of them.

Coleman & Chris - Outta My Head

The game is called Tap Tap Revenge, and on the Tour version, a new song is given every time you play the Tour game. That is 3 songs per tour, or 5 depending how well you play. So when I got to play this song, I felt satisfied like a void has been filled. It might be the fact it sounds almost 90s/early 2000s,  or that it's one of those songs you enjoy for a limited time - and that's perfectly okay. I think it was released at the wrong time, but it's nice to reminisce on nostalgic sounds (even if it's from 2012).

New Old Music

So many boy groups out there, I had to share one I recently found about. It's amazing what you find when you spend endless hours on the internet. But let's not talk about what I do, and focus on the music here, shall we?

IM5 - Zero Gravity

I'm not sure how they got the name (other than the 5), but it seems simple enough to remember. The introduction may throw some off because it's unnecessary, but once it plays on, the sound is totally different than what expected. Instead of guitars and typical Pop/Rock, you get dance beats and choreography and awesomeness. I especially like how it builds up after the chorus, whipping out full energy. And if it wasn't enough, they are all in black & white - my favourite combination. Me wonders if they will stay with this sound, or explore others... Didn't see this coming from the first video I saw.

New Old Music

I love music videos, and this one was just playing on TV one day... It was part of the new music segment - except, it was released last year. Would this be considered Lounge, or very relaxed House? I know for sure, it's irresistible.

Disclosure ft Sam Smith - Latch

They are a brother duo from the UK, and they are young! So it comes out surprising to me when I find out that this masterpiece comes from two men who are barely legal... Maybe it's my fault for thinking of impure thoughts. Not even that lady singing gibberish gets on my nerves, there's a caché behind it. The beat is what, xylophone background? Basic, but enough to let the senses go wild. Interesting for a first single on their debut album. I really can't wait to see what else these boys got. Their career is only beginning.

New Old Music

The greatest thing about radio: it will always surprise you, especially with songs from the past. Maybe changing channels from what you usually listen to is a good thing. It broadens your perspective on good music.

The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You

Earlier stated, I was tired of listening to the music that always invade the radio stations I am use to listening to. So I kept changing the channels, and this song began to play. Not sure if it was the drums, or the singer's voice that caught my attention. But I am glad that I stayed for the whole song - and those 'Whoa Oh Woo' makes it incredibly catchy. You can say this is like a crush kind of song, just without the Pop sound. Perhaps love is the universal language everyone understands, and each genre of music displays their affection in a different way. I'm open to interpretation.

New Old Music

The appeal is all in the video, but the song is quite pumping. This is what exactly happens when you go onto YouTube: discover music you have never heard of, with big surprises. So much music, but oh so little time. Just remember one thing: everything is not what it seems.

Sneaky Sound System - We Love

What happens when you get a beat with a heavy bass, a soulful songstress, and silhouettes that give the wrong impression? This song. I can't recall the video where I first saw this, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't as sexy compared to this. A bit cheeky, but what song about love isn't? Taken to a different level, when the lights turn on, they are every day chores... Maybe cleaning around the house is a turn-on for people? See how imagination leads to wild and exciting thoughts d"; How easy the mind turns dirty.

New Old Music

I have heard of this artist before, but I wasn't familiar with her music. It's funny how I found this song, and you may have heard it in the club once (or, a snippet of it at least). I'm surprised that this song is three years old. She has peaked more interest for me.

Uffie ft Pharrell Williams - ADD SUV

One day, I was at work and had to retrieve an item in the stock room. Then a song from a fellow employee who had to stay in the stock room was playing this from her phone. It's the part when she begins to sing the 'schizophrenic' and a bunch of other words I can barely understand. She's pretty much slurring the words, but I love that bit. Earlier I said that I heard this in the club, and I think this one is close to Club Remix, and here is another good one while I was trying to find the remix they use in the club. Basically, after her singing, the beat drops. Work hard, then play hard. Good music will always find its way back to you.

New Old Music

Consider this as an early celebration for Canada Day, since I am one day early for the birth of a wonderful nation. The music is quality, with a lot of acts I have yet to hear about. Which brings today's post all the way back to 1990 - this song is one year older than me.

Jane Child - Don't Wanna Fall In Love

So I was listening to the radio while driving one day, and sometimes I listen to songs that I am not familiar with (due to being bored with the current music that gets killed by the radio). This little tune comes in, and it threw me in with the glittery synths and that strange cache in her voice. Not exactly raspy, not dramatic, but action-packed? Don't know how to describe it, it's unusual, and it works perfectly with this dance track. Add in some odd jewelry, a hair style only she can pull off, and voila! You've got a Canadian Act... Well, at least a one-hit wonder Act d":

New Old Music

I am into the House/Electronic scene at the moment, so finding this was quite a surprise. The only thing bigger than the song? The people behind it. Let me break it down for you...

Tim Berg - Seek Bromance

I know that I found the song earlier this month, but not exactly how... My best bet would be from browsing videos on the internet. Now you may not know Tim Berg, but you might know him better as this DJ. Yes, before he got his stage name, he used his real name to put himself on the scene. It's lighter than his current material, but it is a good song. The only thing that makes it better is the vocals. Amanda Wilson lends her voice in the track, which makes it THAT much better. She has an outstanding voice - I was addicted to her other song. Seriously, I need to follow her. But an incredible team-up right here, couldn't have picked better choices for the song. There is also a Director's Cut, but I don't think it's any different to be honest.

New Old Music

Today is Father's Day, and I must say my father has good taste in music. Although he may not listen to today's music, he has a fine selection with music that would be about his young adulthood. If there is anything to say, it's that the music back then are timeless pieces. Let's take a look!

Paul Anka - Times Of Your Life

One day, my father brought back a karaoke machine he got while on vacation. Excited as ever, I had to try. Not only the song selections were a wide variety, but it came with two microphones! Naturally, my father would pick up the other microphone. Letting him pick the song, he showed me this. He said I knew the song, but I had no recall of it. Instead, I learned the song - I fell in love with it. It's an excellent song for looking back at your life, looking at all of the great times then and to come. It was even used in a commercial for Kodak (not him singing though). I think I should ask my father for more music selections, they are good! The video above is a live performance, here is the recording.

New Old Music

It's funny what you find on the internet. Specifically, videos which feature songs in tutorials. And it's easy to understand this song, as there are few words that are sung.

Casker - Fragile Days

Earlier stated, I found this song on a video (yes, I do watch a lot of strange videos when I am bored). But what grabs my attention would be the music played in the background. This is a relaxing sound that you can listen to just about anywhere, may it be a café, a lounge, a stroll in the park - it sets the mood. Although it is by a Korean band, the words that are sung are peaceful and don't distract the rest of the laid back, up-tempo Jazz. Who they are, I am not sure. But I am glad that Vloggers choose good music that open up my library to endless options.

New Old Music

This is a song that I always keep forgetting about (shame on me!) So when I hear it during that rare moment, I am constantly surprised when it pops up. It's so bad, I even forgot that I already have downloaded this song -_-"

Carolina Liar - Show Me What I'm Looking For

Those church bells ring, and now I am hooked to the song. They talk about how they have found that person who saves them from themselves, and now they will pay the consequences for all the wrongdoing they have done. Without this person, they are incomplete, going nowhere - they need this person. So much passion in this song, it's almost like Christian Rock with an edge. I wonder what happened to the band, haven't heard much after this song. The sounds that are reminiscent to this are missing these days...

New Old Music

This song I found earlier this year from a countdown list for 2012... Ah, the talent you find when the year begins! But it's a great heads up to keep an eye on this artist. Don't know where she exactly came from, but she has a fantastics sound. Plus, she does it all with a smile :"D

Azelia Banks - 1991

Love how the introduction begins en Français, and then the dirty bits come in. Honestly, I do have a hard time following what she says but aren't all raps like that? They catch you in with the beat, so you listen to it until you are able to actually understand the words that come flying out of her mouth. Her voice is different from other female rappers; it's a little raspy, yet mixed with a soothing, pleasant ring to it. From what I can get at the song, I think it's about herself and the person she is since day one (well, it's pretty obvious with the title being her birth year). On the 31st, she will be 22. Happy Birthday to her, can't wait to see what other gifts she can bring out in the music scene ^^

New Old Music

I will admit: I am slow. Especially when it comes to following television series. I can go weeks without dying to know what happened since the last episode I watched. Don't know why, maybe turning on the television takes so much effort, and that seems hard. Let me explain the rest after introducing the song:

Little Big Town - Pontoon

So last month, I finally found out who won The X Factor, and I must say that it did go to the best singer in the competition. Each contestant got to sing a duet with a famous act, and this was the result. Although I thought it was a fun song, it didn't really catch my attention. That was then until I heard it again earlier this evening, and that funky introduction caught me off guard. Got to blame family, because you never know what kind of music they'll re-introduce you to. But he does make a good point: Country music is fun! And this is a summer hit (even though it's from last year). But who don't want to be motor boatin'? I for one, would love to. And there is no denying such relaxing voices this group has ^_^

New Old Music

To celebrate Mother's Day, I decided this week's selection will be based around one of my mother's favourite artists. She loved to dance back in the day, and would always go out when she had the chance. Nowadays, she still loves to dance... But in a different way. So, let's get to the song.

Donna Summer - Last Dance

This is Disco! Compare it with today's music that you wouldn't want to share with your parents - this is pretty much it, but with more flare! Let's be honest, you can actually sing along with these songs (mainly because of the lyrics) and you also wanted to challenge yourself to hit those high, long notes. It starts off slow, and it introduces all of the kicks: flutes, chimes, saxophones, it's the works! And that is just the beginning - wait until the violins come in. Oh mother, you have excellent taste in music. Thank you for showing me the music of your time, it's delicious :"d

Concert Review: The Lonely Hearts Club Tour

So, I spent money on yet another tour... But this one was generally cheaper compared to other concerts that I have been to, if I say so myself. To be honest, I think the venue should have been bigger.

On May 3, 2013, my friend and I joined Marina & The Diamonds in The Lonely Hearts Club. Let's look into it, shall we?

Welcome to Electra Heart

New Old Music

Another song where you like listening to, but never get around to actually remember what the title is... Thankfully 90s music is always good, and never gets old. Too bad the music scene can't be more like what it use to be in the past ._.

Goo Goo Dolls - Slide

When I think of the Goo Goo Dolls, I instantly think of "Iris," one of their most successful songs. This is another instant hit from them. There is a deep meaning behind the lyrics, mostly about love, and the consequences when the possibility of anything occurs. Will you stay calm and think it over, or go by impulse and run away from your worries? Unfortunately, after the 90s, I never really paid much attention to where the band has gone. But on a recent search of the web, they are still making music. Hopefully, it's just as good as this one.

Sunday, April 28, 2013

New Old Music

Once in a while, a song will come on and you will instantly love it. The only thing that gets in the way from your enjoyment is that darn title - it doesn't stick with you sometimes. Alas, I have found one of the many that scatter my brain.

Chumbawamba - Tubthumping

The alternative title is "I Get Knocked Down," which isn't as fun as the original. It's positive, it's got attitude, and it screams "90s Music!" Throw in some operatic bridges, a catchy chorus, and you have a fool-proof single right here. OK, so it may not be a new song that I recently discovered, but it was too good to give up. They had a fun band name that you can say all day (and it rhymes!) For some reason, I am reminded of this movie... Blame it on the commercial. Whether you love to hate or hate to love this song, there is no denying that it gets stuck in you head. Whatever the situation may be, just go with it.

New Old Music

Although I found this song a few years ago, it never made my shuffle playlist/challenge thingy. So while I was at work, I went through some songs that I was going to put on this list. Somehow this popped in my head, and I knew it had to be today's entry. So without further ado...

Space Cowboy ft Chelsea Korka - Falling Down

For those who recognize the name, he is one of the producers for Lady Gaga's album, The Fame Monster (link is one of my favourite songs from her). He is, however, not the main inspiration behind the *NSYNC song d": But moving on: the sound is almost similar to what the early stages of Gaga were, all with a different flare. Add in a contestant from Search For The Next Doll (admit it, you watched that show!), and it's a pump-up jam in my book! She's been releasing her own content, and even has her own page. As for Space Cowboy... Well, I think producers know that they stick to what they do best, and let the artists represent their work for them. But hey, he tried, and it's quite catchy if I don't say myself. Just hope I don't fall, fall, fall... XD

New Old Music

I can't believe all the new music I've been finding recently... What surprises me more is the age of the songs. Although some will be only a few months old, they will not be part of my year-end countdown (I'm a stickler when it comes to that!)

So once a week, I'll show you a song that I have recently found. Hope you enjoy it!

Basement Jaxx - Raindrops

OK, so this doesn't actually count as 'new,' since I have had this since 2009. But thank goodness for the shuffle button on the music player, because this still sounds fresh. There are so many good hits from them, but I think Good Luck is my favourite (especially from this clip). So why choose this song? Because it's romantic. You can still feel that person despite the physical distance between each other. The only other reason that I've got would be because it's stopped raining recently, and this feels like summer coming back again. I'm not saying for the rain to come back anytime soon, but having it remind you of that special someone... well that's something.

Other great songs from them are Oh My Gosh, and Where'e Your Head At. Can't wait to hear new stuff from them soon!

Kiss Me, My Middle Name Is Patrick

It's that time of year where you get to pinch someone who doesn't wear green! Or drink green beer, whatever you prefer. I like to call this "My Holiday," mainly because my middle name is Patrick d": But enough with the nonsense, here are some musicians that are proudly Irish with some that I didn't know myself (I just assume everyone from Europe is from Britain, I'm sorry!) Check out the Irish acts to celebrate the holiday!

You make me feel funny when you come around...

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Somebody Feeling You

And now we have come to the end of the mushiness and warm feelings that arise for this one day... Whether you are a fan of the holiday or not, the feeling of being loved is absolutely wonderful. Here are the two songs that ends this list. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I love you, is that okay? :"3

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Accidentally There For You

I think today's selection is a bit silly, but absolutely fun. You will either go crazy or start to go on a whole other level: fan-girl. No, I am not talking about the act themselves, but the song they have made are mad-catchy ^^ Let's take a look at the past.

How it happens, it doesn't matter... All that does is this moment

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Still Believe In Bubbly Love

Maybe you won't find that right  person at this moment, and that is perfectly fine. No need to rush into things, take your time. Just don't ever give up on it, and soon enough you'll be finding yourself in love. These songs are just too good, they had to be on this list.

A love that makes you cry out of happiness - the kind worth waiting for

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Ain't No Dreams High Enough

Reaffirmation is a great way to express how much you love someone, no doubt about it c": A little message is all that it takes, and they won't ever leave your side - even if you are miles away. So here are two epic songs that make all the difference to tell what you feel.

Being cute isn't all physical; it's also with the words that you say

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: The Best Of My Tender Love

Once you hear these hits, I think you will instantly be in the mood for love. Sometimes all it takes is simply a little song, either very simple or with all of your might being played on the line. These are the songs that can capture the heart without even trying. May these songs last forever ^^

The best moments are shared with someone special

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Kiss Me, Lovefool

Maybe you don't have to say anything at all... and sometime, that can be too much. But either way, you will always react when it comes to love. Show your craziness, your sincereness, or whatever your heart feels. Just be prepared and get ready to take it it!

Good or bad, the happy or sad... It's all out of love

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Shhh, Always Forever

Sometimes it takes very little effort to say what you want, and yet it makes the biggest impact. Such soft songs these are, but they have been a favourite of mine ever since I first listened to them. Let's begin the second half peacefully with these cuties :"3

Maybe love isn't so complicated - can be easy as three little words

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Butterflies Your Love

It's amazing what you will find in the media... and usually it's the best stuff out there. Here are two artists that you may not not, and hopefully you will take an interest in them. Whether you enjoy it or it's not your taste, you cannot say that it's pretty cute.

No matter what you do with your loved ones, it will always seem cute ^^

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Bring My Girl Home To Me

Love is nothing without the soul... music, that is. When you hear them, you get that sense of mushiness in your heart, the one that makes you feel real warm inside. They say it loud and proud, that you can't deny. And honestly, with such good tunes, you'll be glad they did.

You may not want it all the time, but the sense of love always feels good

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Loving You Faster Tonight

Modern hits are what best summarizes these songs. But they do contradict each other with the first taking it nice and slow, while the other one wants to keep going because he can't contain his love for you. What ever speed you may want to go, just enjoy it ^^

When you're together, forever is the time you have left with each other

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: In This Closing Time

Simple is what best describes these songs. They tell out loud what they want most, and the message is clear. Add two talented artists, and you have my selections for today ^^ I don't think it's possible to ever be bored of them - they are so good.

When you know you have found the one, it doesn't really matter what you do d":

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Crazy For Never Gonna Give You Up

I think what we all want is the love that is worth your time, because then it doesn't feel like time will ever be wasted. Pour your heart, let them know how you really feel. Here are two timeless pieces, all from the best era of love music: the 80s. Let the festivities begin ^^

If word's won't do, a kiss will do just the trick

Ooey Gooey Lovey Goo: Never Knew Baby Love Like This Before

What do you look for in love? The one that you yearn for? Something you haven't experienced? Or desperately wanting it? Either way, I hope it sounds like today's selections. A bit old, but still good... always. I don't think anyone knows love like the olden times C":

January 12, 2013 will be a very memorable night for me. I got to see Lady Gaga for the first time in concert! My review can be viewed on my other blog, though I should have put it on this one, since it is after all a music blog d": But anyways, videos for you to see! There is more after the jump!
