5 Best 1 Worst Of: Owl City

Today's artist goes to a man who would prefer to be known by his stage name. Although Adam Young may be the only member of his band, he is truly talented, playing most of the instruments heard in his songs. So let's get to the Best (& Worst) of...

Owl City

His first single "Fireflies" was incredibly a strong single for him. But is it in the Best?

[5] Deer In The Headlights

The video is everything, from the DeLorean, to an appearance by Lights. The song is infectiously catchy for such a brutal message. But if it's love, you keep trying until you succeed.

[4] Good Time

Teaming up with Carly Rae Jepsen was one of the most brilliant collaborations ever done. Not only does this show that he can write a solid Pop single, but that he is able to change his style without overdoing it.

[3] Alligator Sky

Full of imagination and wonder, this song is uplifting for those who need some daily inspiration. Just be prepared and be excited for whatever comes your way. Both this and the solo version are fantastic.

[2] Fireflies

Without this song, we would have not been introduced to the mind of Owl City. Still his strongest hit he's made, it showcases what's going in his head, and it's a lot. I love the metaphors, makes you second guess what it's about.

[1] When Can I See You Again?

Probably the kind of soundtracks, this is the best theme for a film. It's everything that Owl City is about: life, character, a jolly good time. And you can't wait to see what's coming next. Seriously, Electronic Pop + Video Games = Genius

[WORST] Vanilla Twilight

I wouldn't say this is his worst song, HOWEVER, he never performs this song in concert. Seen him twice, yet this ballad of a song never gets to shine like the rest. Such a shame, it's his only slow single he's released.
